Our Methods and Approaches

The methods and approaches we use in our projects have been developed to characterize complex work domains with deep technical structures and high-risk boundaries. They draw on carefully developed techniques for the study of real work and have been tested in other high-consequence domains such as aviation, nuclear power, medicine, and military systems.

Our methods and techniques build a constellation of qualitative data sources to triangulate and corroborate conclusions and findings. These data are used to triangulate accounts and perspectives. The results are used to draw conclusions about knowledge, perspectives, confidence, assessments, etc.
